Accounts & Audit Semi Senior | Maidenhead (Hybrid) | £35,000 – £45,000 | Permanent An established, friendly practice in Maidenhead is looking for an accounts-led Semi Senior to join a close team. The work is roughly 80% accounts and the rest audit, and you don’t need audit experience to apply. If you’ve got a good attitude and you’re keen to learn, they will train you. You’ll work on a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, with real ownership of your own clients, supportive seniors above you and a sensible hybrid pattern. It suits someone who wants to build their career in practice without being pushed into a pure audit seat. If you’re a strong all-round accounts person who’d like to step into audit, this is a good way in. Newly qualified candidates will also be considered for a Senior role. What you’ll bring

• At least 2 years’ general practice experience
• AAT qualified, or part-qualified ACCA / ACA (or working towards it)
• Solid grounding in year-end accounts and the working papers behind them
• A positive, can-do approach and a willingness to pick up audit
• Your own car and a full driving licence
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing year-end accounts and supporting workings for a mixed client base
• Helping with audit work and learning the process, at a pace that suits you
• Dealing with clients directly and keeping their jobs moving
• Reviewing the work of juniors as you grow in the role

What’s on offer

• Salary £35,000 – £45,000, depending on experience
• Permanent, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
