About the Role
You’ll work within a well-structured audit team supporting a diverse portfolio of clients — from owner-managed businesses to larger corporates and not-for-profit organisations. The work is varied, technically interesting and designed to help you build towards a senior position.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, executing and completing audit assignments
  • Preparing audit files, working papers and final deliverables
  • Liaising directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships
  • Supporting audit seniors and assisting with on-site fieldwork
  • Ensuring compliance with UK audit standards and firm methodologies
  • Providing support and guidance to junior team members

What You’ll Bring

  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or qualified by experience) with at least 2 years in practice
  • Solid grounding in audit and assurance work
  • Good working knowledge of accounting standards and UK audit regulations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • A proactive approach and desire to progress within a respected local firm
