About the Role
You’ll join a well-established chartered practice supporting a diverse portfolio of clients — from local owner-managed businesses to professionals, charities and property investors. You’ll play a key role in preparing accounts, managing client relationships and ensuring top-tier service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing annual and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Completing VAT, PAYE and bookkeeping duties as needed
• Assisting with business and personal tax returns
• Supporting audits and statutory reporting for a range of clients
• Advising on accounting systems, cashflows and business performance
• Building trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication

What You’ll Bring

• ACA or ACCA qualified / part-qualified, or qualified by experience
• A solid background in accountancy practice with strong technical skills
• Excellent client communication and organisational abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting and tax requirements
• Competence in modern accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, etc.)
• A professional, proactive approach and genuine interest in client service
