This established and ambitious accountancy practice had a standout year in 2024—and it’s not slowing down. With a growing client base and a collaborative leadership team, they’re now looking for a confident Accountant to support the next stage of growth.
You’ll work closely with senior colleagues on client accounts, VAT, and some payroll responsibilities, while also serving as a key day-to-day contact for clients. Whether you’re recently qualified or QBE with strong all-round experience, this is a great opportunity to grow in a stable, respected firm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Reviewing accounts and identifying improvements
• Completing VAT returns with accuracy and timeliness
• Providing basic tax advice and assistance to clients
• Collaborating with seniors and supporting wider team functions

What They’re Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist/QBE with strong practical experience)
• 4 years working in a UK practice environment
• Comfortable using multiple accounting systems (e.g. IRIS, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and confident communicator, both with clients and colleagues

• Salary: Up to £52,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
